The best grapes are used to produce Chateau Laville, while the younger plots, or those less felicitously sited are used in this wine. Delmond was the name of his grandfather who brought the property . A blend of 85% Semillon, 13% Sauvignon and 2% Muscadelle he makes at least three - in some years - six passes through the vineyard in order to ensure that only those bunches attacked by botrytis are selected.
