Good places to eat where you can enjoy our wines
Retailers UK - the online uk shopping directory.
The Kingswell Hotel & Restaurant
Perfectly located for travelling around southern Oxfordshire, just off the main A34 in the
pretty village of Harwell. Great cooking is partnered by an imaginative wine list from a
variety of UK suppliers. Comfortable bedrooms and well appointed conference facilities make
this an ideal venue for conferences.
The Trout at Tadpole Bridge
Lying just beside the river, the Trout offers a peaceful location in the Oxfordshire
countryside to enjoy good food and wine. There is also boat moorings, camping and fishing.
Perfect for a good Sunday lunch, followed by a walk along the river!
Vineyards we list...
Forrest Estate, Marlborough, New Zealand
John Forrest is our favourite Marlborough producer, making fine, vibrant Sauvignon Blanc
Kaapzicht Estate, Stellenbosch,
South Africa
Kaapzicht's superb wines from this family estate in the Cape. We've long ben fans of
Kaapzicht's wines, and hope to soon be able to offer a "meet-the-Winemaker" tasting with
them... watch this space!
Plantagenet Wines, Mount Barker,
Western Australia
I first tasted these wines at a beach-side tasting, looking out over the Southern Ocean,
right on the southern most tip of Western Australia. A fitting location for such wonderful
wines! We now have the Omrah range to complement the estate wines.
Hollick Vineyard, Coonawarra, South Australia
Benchmark wines from Coonawarra. Ian Hollick's wines combine typical Coonawarra structure
with finesse and great length.
Ridge Vineyards, Santa Cruz Mountains,
California
Winemaker Paul Draper was named as the Decanter magazine "Man of the Year" for 2000. A
well deserved accolade for one of the wine worlds most talented producers.
Mountadam Vineyard, Eden Valley, South
Australia
The first Australian wine we ever listed and Adam Wynn was the first winemaker to visit us
here. He's been back many times since to present his wines, and become a firm fixture on our
tasting calendar. Our very own Mr. Australia!
..and some we don't, but admire none the less...
