Matt Skinners 2008 Juice - Recommendations Posted by Andrew Barrow, 3:39pm 15/10/2007.  The wine worlds equivalent of Jamie Oliver, Matt Skinner, is just about to see his 2008 Juice book book released to the expectant hordes. The guide reviews the '100 wines you should be drinking'; several of which we stock.
While we wholeheartedly agree with Mr Skinner on the quality of the above we don't quite agree on his 'Bargain of the Year'; we tried it and thought it rubbish... ^ Back to top

Posted by ryan at 8:05am on 16/10/2007 I hate these kind of things. 100 wines you should be drinking? What kind of wine lover would limit themselves to 100 wines? Now if he said 100 wine regions I should drink/know about, well I could get behind that. Wine is an exploration that allows you to try different cultures and flavors, limiting oneself to a set list of wines, is a bit crazy! There's my two cents...
Posted by Andrew at 10:46am on 16/10/2007 I think they are useful to a degree in that they could point the reader to the 'good stuff'. Although of course the opposite may happen and the reader won't drink anything that isnt on the list.
